Civilian Life is on the Horizon

Ever since I got the wonderful news last week, time suddenly seems to be moving very quickly. My last day at the office will be September 11th and I'm getting so excited! Surprisingly, my contractor's don't share that excitement (and my supervisor REALLY doesn't share it)! I would have thought my contractor's would be counting the days after all the times I "held their feet to the fire"... I'm encouraged by this and it reassures me that I've done a good job and earned their respect.

I'm waiting for my orders to come through but the plan is to pack up the house on the 15th and 16th of September. Justin will be flying home that Thursday and Monday afternoon (the 22nd) we will depart Norfolk for good. Kind of sad after almost 3 years of living here but I'm SOOOO excited to get to move to Cali!!! Only 5 more weeks!

Anyone up for a visit?

Prayer requests: 1.) that we find renters for the condo and Justin's house in FL (we do not desire to pay triple mortgage), 2.) that we find someone to buy the Saturn since we can't move it with us, 3.) that everything will fall in place with arranging movers/booking airlines tickets/checking out of the command, 4.) that the Lord will use this time to strenthen our relationship and 5.) that the Lord will be preparing me for a life as a stay at home wife... where my sole focus is the ministry of my husband without the distractions that work has proven.

Praying for you! Everything WILL work out...I know it seems like a lot of big details, but I know God is going to work them all out for you! Will and I found renters for our house in CC in two weeks when we decided to move to Houston.

I'm sure you will be a great SAHW!
