It's Saturday and what are we doing? Moving again! Two families had offered to take us in during our 2 weeks of limbo (i.e. waiting for our home to become available for move in)... and since company is like fish, they both stink after awhile... we wanted to make sure we don't wear out our welcome. So later this morning (after I finish my 2nd cup of coffee) we'll start packing everything back into our bags and loading the cars up. The family we've been staying with are the regional leaders for Campus Crusade and we've had a wonderful stay here. We've been able to cook dinner for them several times and enjoy some rich fellowship.
The family whose home we are moving to today Justin met at OCF (Officer Christian Fellowshi). We are so blessed to have these families opening their homes to us during this time of transition.
Our kitties our adjusting well to their new temporary home. The family that is fostering them has a 4 year old, 2 year old and 6 month old along with a very ornery older siamese kitty. Talk about sensory overload for them! All that after a full day on an airplane. Poor babies. After a rough day they're finally adjusting (thank goodness... I was quite upset to see them hissing at each other the first day and went home and cried). They are definitely my "kids" :) Ha ha!
Everything is still tracking for us to take possession of our new home on the 6th and our household goods have arrived! Yeah!!! They didn't catch on fire! The 7th is the big move in day. With that, the sun just broke through the marine layer and it's time to go start today's move :)
