The View From Where I Sit

We have a front porch swing that I absolutely love.  When it's decent weather I just sit out there and swing, read and watch the neighborhood kids come and go.  This was the view we had this weekend...

I'm not sure what to make of this.  Those of you who know me have heard or lived in California have inevitably heard or experienced California's lousy ability to accurately place signs on the road.  I have yet to find the benefit of placing the exit sign 15 feet past the exit... but perhaps I'm just missing something.  Anyway, my hypothesis to why we have a Humvee in our neighborhood... I think they got lost on their way to Iraq (thanks to California's lousy exit sign placement) and just gave up.  :)  Sounds good to me...
