Invasion of the Ants

Justin came up to Sacramento this weekend to see me. This past month we've spent more time apart than together... so I was truly looking forward to a relaxing weekend together. Wouldn't you know it, I woke up Friday morning sick. Ugh. Yup. Caught some cold buggy from the baby and spent the whole weekend trying to avoid being taken to the curb by it. Let me just say there is nothing attractive about talking through your nose! This is how I know I have a wonderful husband... because instead of running for his Zicam, he just comforted me!

So today I'm finally starting to feel better. I get home from picking Jacob up from kindergarten and notice a few ants. No big deal. I put the baby down for his nap, do homework with Jacob and send him upstairs for quiet time... and then I came downstairs to find the invasion of the ants. Hundreds of ants all over the place. Sigh. I just can't catch a break right now.

Only 2 more days and I get to go home to my kitties and hubby!
