Final Day...

Today is my last day with my baby... my 4Runner that is :( I know it sounds strange but this was the first car I ever bought... I truly expected to drive it for another 4-5 years so I'm sad to be parting ways with it (and the sunroof). We're going to be buying my parent's "old" minvan from them (it's 2004 Honda Odyssey)... and I've been struggling with getting a minivan before we have kids. I've been doing a lot of praying about this and I've come to realize that for whatever reason, I've allowed my car to become an idol in my life. No I'm not literally worshipping my car... but I have given it far more value than a machine ever should have in one's life. Amazing how the Lord has a way of freeing us from idols.
