Time For a Haircut

So I haven't exactly posted anything lately... not because of insufficient material, more like insufficient time. Justin recently took over as the leader of the Monterey OCF so we've been plenty busy with that BUT I had to share this...

Last night I cut Justin's hair for the first time! Yup... used the clippers and everything. When we moved here he was dreading going to the barber shop on base because they would always do such a bad job. One of his classmates recommended the barber shop at the mall. They were much better but it cost us $15 every 3 weeks or so which adds up quickly over a year. After watching the guy cut his hair last time I said, "I can do that!" Justin said, "Okay... if you want to try." So we bought the clippers and last night my shaggy husband let me at his hair :) While I wouldn't go so far as to say I did a perfect job (I definitely learned a few lessons) or that I was fast at it (took a good 45 minutes)... it's even and looking so much better!
